11:00am   Arrive Round Top, NY - Blackhead Mountain Resort

Upon arrival, the group will be welcomed by Blackhead’s staff with a wine and beer reception. Cheese and crackers will also be included. German music will add to the ambiance. Prior to the meal, the chef will share his recipes, and demonstrate how he makes the German noodles called ‘Schwaebische Eier Spaetzle.’

Next, enjoy an authentic German meal in their dining room called “Maassmann’s.” Here, in a room filled with décor’ reminiscent of Germany, their musician will continue to entertain.

Please make your entree selection at time of booking.

1) Sauerbraten (marinated oven-roasted beef with gravy)

2) Roast Loin of Pork (center cut loin roast with gravy)

3) Wienerschnitzel (lightly breaded sautéed veal cutlet)

All the above are served with homemade Spaetzle, red cabbage, apple strudel with whipped cream and coffee or tea.

 

Free time afterward to stroll the grounds and take in some clean mountain air. Before our departure, we’ll enjoy a drive around the area with a local guide.
