Casual and comfortable for your touring pleasure. The average daily high temperature in the Mansfield/Wellsboro area during October is approximately 60; the average daily low is approximately 40.

Comfort Inn Mansfield, Mansfield, PA. Two nights. The property features 24-hour front desk, bar/lounge and fitness center. Features and amenities of all guest rooms include air conditioning, AM/FM clock/radio, cable/satellite television, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and in-room coffee maker.
 

MEALS:                                

Two Dinners

Penn Wells Restaurant – Wellsboro, PA. A sit-down dinner will be served on day one of the tour. The menu will consist of: Garden Salad, Roast Turkey with cranberry sauce –or- Baked Ham with pineapple sauce, baked potato with sour cream, buttered green beans, dessert and cheesecake w/ cherry topping, tea or iced tea.

Penn Wells Restaurant – Wellsboro, PA. A dinner smorgasbord is on the menu for day two. This will include Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, Haddock, Carved Turkey, Beef du jour, Roasted Chicken, Scallops, Fish du jour, Meatballs and Sausage, Pasta du jour, sides and desserts, plus beverage.

One Lunch

Victoria House Restaurant – Lewisburg, PA. The Victoria House Restaurant is a 19^th-century showpiece in Lewisburg, and will feature a choice of 1) Broccoli Chicken Roulade (chicken breast stuffed with broccoli, baked, then sliced and served with sauce supreme), or 2) Beef Tips Burgundy. Meal is served with House Salad, Chef’s choice of starch and vegetable, deep dish apple pie a la mode and coffee, tea or soda.

Hilton Garden Inn Rockaway. Breakfast buffet is included the morning of departure.

Two Continental Breakfasts - at the Comfort Inn Mansfield.

ATTRACTIONS:

Williamsport tour - guided tour of Millionaires' Row lead by a costumed guide who presents everyone with "million dollar bills" so they can join the city's millionaires, plus a visit to the Rowley House which is one of the mansions along Millionaires' Row.

Covered wagon ride - into the Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon's upper gorge. Pennsylvania Grand Canyon Overlook and Visitor Center for great views of this natural wonder. 50 miles long, 1,000 feet deep and embraced by 300,000 acres of state-owned forestland, the gorge is protected with a section designated as a National Natural Landmark by the National Park Service.

Train excursion - all aboard the Tioga Central Railroad departing from Wellsboro Junction. This 1-1/2 hour excursion travels to Hammond Lake and back.

Tour of Lewisburg with a step-on guide - enjoy a guided driving tour throughout the day plus workshop tour, demo and browsing at Colonial Candlecrafters, tour of the Slifer House Victorian Mansion and lunch at Victoria House Restaurant, all in the Lewisburg area.

Mifflinburg Buggy Museum - the focal points including the Heiss house, buggy factory and repository. The buildings offer a unique look into America's industrial past.
