Portland Headlight Portland Head Light is a historic lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine that sits at the entrance of the shipping channel into Casco Bay. The headlight was the first built by the United States government, and is now a part of Fort Williams Park. We’ll stop for a photo op here with views of scenic Casco Bay and the Calendar Islands.

“Jewel of the Coast” tour – Our local guide will fascinate us with the rich maritime history of the twin villages of Camden and Rockland. Discover the beauty of the area while you soak in panoramic views from Mt. Battie and Penobscot Bay.

Maine Schooner cruise - The very best way to see the beautiful Maine coast. Board the 86-foot Maine Schooner for a two-hour, senior-friendly sail; this majestic tall ship has sailed around the world. Departing from beautiful Camden Harbor, take in the scenery, enjoy the wildlife - routinely seen are seals, osprey, eagles and porpoises.

Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park tour. Acadia is located on Mount Desert Island along the coast of Maine. Acadia National Park was the first national park east of the Mississippi River; established in 1929. See the beauty that has attracted folks to this area for years. Keep your camera handy for stops atop Cadillac Mountain, Otter Point, Sieur De Mont Springs and Thunder Hole.

Acadia Carriage Trail Wagon - From 1915 to 1933, the wealthy philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr. financed, designed, and directed the construction of a network of carriage trails throughout Acadia National Park. The network encompassed over 50 miles of gravel carriage trails, 17 granite bridges, and two gate lodges, almost all of which are still maintained and in use today. Cut granite stones placed along the edges of the carriage roads act as guard rails of sort and are locally known as "coping stones" to help visitors cope with the steep edges. They are also fondly called "Rockefeller's teeth". You’ll enjoy a horse-drawn, Acadia Carriage Trail Wagon ride along these historic trails.

West Quoddy Head - West Quoddy Head in Lubec, Maine is the easternmost point of the contiguous United States and the closest point to Europe from a point in the fifty States. West Quoddy Head overlooks Quoddy Narrows, a strait between Canada and the United States. Since 1808, there has been a lighthouse there to guide ships through the waterway. The current one, with distinctive red-and-white stripes, was built in 1858. Photographs and paintings of this lighthouse are frequently reproduced.

Roosevelt Campobello International Park - Franklin D. Roosevelt spent many enjoyable vacations at his summer home on Campobello Island, in New Brunswick’s Bay of Fundy. His magnificent 34-room residence is today the centerpiece of Roosevelt-Campobello International Park, preserved as a memorial and as a symbol of the close friendship between Canada and the United States. Owned, funded, staffed, and administered by the peoples of both Canada and the United States, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors each year.

Visitors are welcomed to the Park in the Edmund S. Muskie Visitor Center, where panels, displays, and a short video interpret the Roosevelt story from the time Franklin Roosevelt and his parents first visited Campobello through his battle with polio, his presidency, and the establishment of the Park. Guides respond to informational requests and sell a limited number  of souvenirs.

A short walk past beautiful flower gardens leads visitors to FDR and Eleanor’s summer home. Both outside and inside, guides provide interpretation and answer questions about the cottage, its furnishings, and the Roosevelt family.

Eastcoast Ferries Ltd. – experience a short ferry ride on the “Road of the Isles” – the scenic route between Maine and New Brunswick. Visitors to Campobello area who wish to continue on to the New Brunswick mainland can save nearly 100 driving miles by hopping on the M.V. ''Island Hopper.''

Fundy National Park – located on the Bay of Fundy, you’ll experience Fundy National Park with a step-on guide, and experience its rugged shoreline, highland Acadian forests and unique eco-systems. The Caribou Plain trail and boardwalk provides access to upland forest and bog habitats. The Park also includes more than 25 waterfalls.

Aerial view of Point Wolfe

Magnetic Hill, Moncton, New Brunswick. A guide at the Tourist Information Centre at Magnetic Hill will board the motorcoach and describe this unique natural phenomenon. Basically, the bus appears to move backward, coasting “up” the hill. The illusion is so powerful that it feels like the bus is actually being pulled uphill by some mysterious magnetic force.

The Hopewell Rocks, Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick. The Hopewell Rocks are rock formations caused by tidal erosion in The Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site in New Brunswick. Due to the extreme tidal range of the Bay of Fundy, the base of the formations are covered in water twice a day. However, it is possible to view the formations from ground level at low tide.

Various shorebirds are often seen flocking to nest and feed in the area. Although the tides vary from day to day, the high tide can be as high as 52 feet, giving The Hopewell Rocks one of the highest average tides in the world. There is an interpretive centre, gift shop, and viewing decks.
