The New York Botanical Garden is a grand museum of plants, a place to relax, rejuvenate, and experience the wonders of nature, a living "tip sheet" for your home garden and a great deal more. Founded in 1891, the Garden is one of the world's great collections of plants, the region's leading educational center for gardening and horticulture, and an international center for plant research.

A world of orchids awaits you at this 250-acre National Historic Landmark site. Delight in a guided tour of The Orchid Show, an exhibition showcasing the spectacular forms and breathtaking colors of the world's most coveted plant. Stroll through America's preeminent Victorian glasshouse, the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, to view more than 8,000 orchids dramatically displayed in natural habitats and artistic settings.
