Initially started as an effort to combat graffiti, the Mural Arts Program has morphed into the largest mural program in the country, with more than 3,000 super-sized works of art adorning the sides of buildings throughout the city. Filled with anecdotes and rich with history, this "behind the scenes" tour will leave you with an understanding of the complexities of mural-making and an appreciation of Philadelphia as the world's largest outdoor art gallery. After the tour, you'll have free time for lunch (not included) and free time in the Historic District. Come explore "the City of Murals" with us!

You may want to visit Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, National Consitution Center, Independence Visitor Center,

Congress Hall or the Bourse, featuring a collection of shops and food outlets.
