America’s first zoo is home to nearly 2,000 animals, featuring white lions, polar bears, elephants, reptiles and magnificent birds from around the world. The PECO Primate Reserve houses 11 primate species, including gorillas and orangutans. The 42-acre Victorian Garden features naturalistic exhibits. There are several rides available here at an additional charge, some of which include the Channel 6 Zooballoon (rise high above the treetops of the Zoo and overlook giraffes and zebras. Elevate to heights of 400 feet and enjoy spectacular views of Fairmount Park and the Philadelphia skyline. Voyages last approximately 15 minutes), Swan Boat ride, Draft Horse/Pony ride, Camel ride, etc. You may have lunch here at various locations throughout the zoo.
