2:00pm            PA Shakespeare Festival featuring Cyrano DeBergerac

The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival is located at DeSales University in the Allentown/Bethlehem area. Cyrano is the epic love story of an unlikely hero. Cyrano - brave swordsman, virtuouso poet and charismatic philosopher - believes he can never win the heart of his adored because the scope of his legendary wit is exceeded only by the profundity of his proboscis: he has an exceptionally large nose. When Roxanne falls in love with a handsome young guard, Cyrano finds heart-rending expression for his gift of poetry by wooing her on the guard's behalf, conceding that she may never know the true origin of his words of love. Passionate, dazzling and inspired, Cyrano de Bergerac is the greatest romantic classic of all time.
