TRIP ITINERARY/MISCELLANEOUS:

8:30am            Arrive Manhattan & drop off group at Lincoln Center for the Thanksgiving Day Parade

9:00am            Parade begins

We will drop the group off at Lincoln Center; at that point, you only have a 2 block walk to the parade route. This will allow us to get out of the city quicker once the parade ends. The parade begins at Central Park West and 77th Street, follows Central Park West and winds its way down to Macy’s at Herald Square at 34th Street.

Begun in 1924, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is as traditional as family gatherings, turkey feasts and football games. It features a host of clowns, floats, marching bands, celebrities and the famous gigantic balloons that follow the parade overhead.
